Our Achievements and Milestones include:
- Broadcasting Consulting to the SABC for the
design and implementation of Studio 12, a new Television Studio.
We were the first consulting company outsourced to the SABC for
studio technology services. Prior to this, it had only been done
by in-house engineers. MMPA has now completed 3 SABC projects
including design and Implementation of new SABC Studio 12 Television
facility and Radio Ikekwezi.
- Technical design, consulting and project management
to Comutanet (Primedia company) for the Rank TV Project, including
equipment evaluation, technical integration and coordination,
project management of installation, roll-out commissioning of
10 giant TV screens with audio systems for quality entertainment
and advertising in taxi ranks throughout South Africa. This ambitious
project was the first of its kind on this scale.
- Acoustic Consulting, Audio and Video design
to His Majesty Leruo Molotlegi, King of the Royal Bafokeng Nation
in North West Province, South Africa for the Tribal Court, Council
Chambers and Corporate Presentation facilities, including implementation
and commissioning of new conference facilities, boardrooms and
presentation systems
- Acoustic Consulting and System Design criteria
for sound reinforcement, for the new U'Shaka, Aquarium and Marine
Theme Park in Durban, largest in the Southern Hemisphere.
- Acoustic and Sound System Design for Centurion
Park Cricket Stadium including broadcast distribution in preparation
for the Cricket World Cup 2004.
- Design, construction and implementation of
Sky FM radio studios in Zambia, the first non-government broadcast
facility to be awarded a licence in Zambia
- Design and implementation for Anglogold &
De Beers mining groups for the first Video Conference and Audio
Conference system between London, Johannesburg, Cape Town and
Kimberley; including re-design of Johannesburg Auditorium and
unlimited live telephone link-up for investment brokers worldwide.
- Broadcast consulting and Project management
of new radio broadcast facility including studio construction
for Radio Pulpit, the first privately owned digital radio station
in Southern Africa.
- Audiovisual Consulting, Systems Design and
On-Site Project Management for the Rwandan Government's construction
of 2 new 5-Star Hotels and convention centres in Kigali &
Gisenyi. The InterContinental Kigali has a state-of-the-art convention
centre, with conference facilities for up to 800 delegates and
the capacity to host up to 500 guests for a banquet. It is a multi-level
conference facility with breakaway rooms, translation centre,
media rooms and hi-tech audiovisual equipment.
- Acoustic Consulting to the SABC for the design
and implementation of Botswana Broadcast Corporation's new Television
and Radio studios. This was a 4-year project.
- Consulting, design and turnkey project management
for new East Coast Radio studios in SunCoast Casino. The first
fully functional, broadcast quality radio studio inside a casino,
with live link-up to main East Coast Radio studios.
- Technical and Broadcast Consulting to Adsat
for the pioneering of In-House Satellite-based Corporate Radio
stations. Responsible for conceptual studio design, studio construction
and project management of technical requirements for Broadcast-standard
Retail Chain radio studios for Ackermans, Nandos, Pick & Pay
Supermarkets, Pick & Pay Hypermarkets and Score Supermarkets.
